WordPress 2.0.6
Friday, January 5th, 2007A new version of WordPress was released today. Apparently it’s the last update before the big 2.1 release with new features.
Here’s the changes they list for the 2.0.6 release:
- Security fixes.
- HTML quicktags now work in Safari browsers.
- Comments are filtered to prevent them from messing up your blog layout.
- Compatibility with PHP/FastCGI setups.
I’ve been wanting to try running PHP with Fast CGI for my sites, so maybe I’ll give that a try and see if there’s some performance improvement. I think several hosts offer that option, I know Dreamhost does.
