Hi, I'm the process of starting a web comic and am going to use Comic Press to do so, which is a fantastic theme for WordPress, BTW.

BUT...

Is there a way to post and have an avatar or an image for the author of the post? Is this possible?

Personally, I never use more than a single link in the comment I post because doing so can trigger spam catchers if the user has that plugin activated, whereas a single link will not.

Sorry Rob, I'm not familiar with Drupal. Nor am I familiar with making a subscription "no ads" version of WordPress but maybe there is a plugin or something. I know one way to do it would be a protected directory on the server for the "no ads" version.

Hm... How easy would this be to port to Drupal? I'd consider doing my comic site all in WordPress, but I need to have an option for paid subscribers to not see ads, and so far my research into WordPress hasn't yielded any fruit in that area. Of course, in Drupal, none of the seemingly appropriate modules work to run a comic the way I want.
*sighs*
Either way, I'm left trying to piece together a solution.
